
As part of the “Welcome Back to School” initiative, the Begumpet Traffic Training Institute (TTI) conducted a road safety awareness program for students of Vidyanagar Government High School (Boys & Girls) on 15-06-2026.
The program was organized under the guidance of Hyderabad Police Commissioner V. C. Sajjanar, IPS, Traffic Joint Commissioner Joel Davis, IPS, and other senior officials.

Students were warmly welcomed with road safety message placards, chocolates, and flowers. During the awareness session, students were educated about traffic rules, road signs, pedestrian safety, zebra crossings, importance of footpaths, and following traffic signals.
Inspector Nagula Ashok interacted directly with students and explained road safety measures through presentations and demonstrations. Students were advised to take precautions while crossing roads, avoid distractions such as mobile phone usage, and use designated zebra crossings.

The students were also encouraged to motivate their family members and guardians to follow traffic rules and act responsibly towards road safety.Hyderabad Traffic Police highlighted that road safety is a shared responsibility of every citizen and encouraged students to become road safety ambassadors in their families and communities.
The program was attended by School Headmistress Mrs. Rani, teachers, school staff, students, and Begumpet Traffic Training Institute staff Sai Kumar and Krishna. The initiative received an excellent response from students and teachers.
