Chowrangee Presents: Monsoon Magic Rising Stars from Kolkata to Kochi
An Evening of Music Celebrating India’s Cultural Harmony
Hyderabad, 10th July 2026: Chowrangee, the flagship cultural initiative of the Bengal & Beyond Foundation, presents Monsoon Magic: Rising Stars from Kolkata to Kochi on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 7:00 PM at the iconic Taramati Baradari, Hyderabad.
Curated together with the Green Room Tapes Collective, Monsoon Magic brings together exceptional musical talent from across the country for an evocative evening where Indian classical traditions meet contemporary global soundscapes. From the cultural richness of Kolkata to the musical vibrancy of Kochi, the concert traces a dynamic arc across genres—Hindustani, ghazal, folk, and contemporary—woven into a seamless, engaging experience.
Designed as an immersive musical journey, the performance reimagines timeless traditions through a fresh, modern lens. Set against the striking arches of Taramati Baradari and framed by the monsoon’s natural ambience, the evening promises an intimate and memorable concert experience.
The ensemble features Srinath Nair (vocals), Rajdeep Mukherjee (vocals), Sameel Sikkani (tabla), Kaanjana Sriram (vocals), Anurag Rajeev Nayan (guitar), Sumit Jaiswal (bass guitar), Anantharaman Anil (keyboards), and Sanjai Arakkal (sound engineer).
Dr Santanu Paul, President, Chowrangee, said: “Monsoon Magic reflects our vision of fostering meaningful artistic conversations across regions, languages, and traditions—celebrating both the unity and diversity of India’s cultural landscape.”
