Amaravati, May 14: Following the call given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has reduced the size of his vehicle convoy. The convoy, which previously consisted of 12 vehicles, has now been reduced to four. The Chief Minister has directed that this reduction be implemented with immediate effect from today.
Accordingly, the Chief Minister travelled from the camp office at Undavalli to the Secretariat for the Cabinet meeting with a convoy of only four vehicles. He has decided to continue using this reduced four-vehicle convoy going forward.
The Chief Minister also advised ministers and public representatives to similarly reduce the size of their convoys in order to conserve fuel. Following this direction, ministers too have reduced the number of vehicles in their convoys.
