
Minister Kandula Durgesh on Thursday launched the emotional song “O Nanna… Nuvvante” from the upcoming film “Jai Ho” at the Secretariat.
The song, which carries deep emotional sentiment, moved Minister Kandula Durgesh after he listened to it during a meeting with the film team led by senior journalist Netaji Kodiyar at his chamber in the Secretariat.
During the interaction, the minister enquired about the details of the film and appreciated the team for producing a socially relevant movie that promotes human values and moral responsibility among today’s youth. He said everyone should watch films that deliver meaningful and constructive messages to society.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister said the song “O Nanna… Nuvvante” deeply touched his heart. He expressed the need for more such meaningful films in society.
He appreciated the efforts of Nandi Award-winning director Dudyala Kotendra for attempting to deliver a strong social message addressing issues such as social media influence, phone addiction, drugs, and alcoholism that are negatively impacting today’s youth. The film also highlights the importance of respecting parents and teachers while encouraging youngsters to achieve their dreams.
Minister Durgesh specially praised director Dudyala Kotendra, who earlier gained fame through the emotional song “Anitha O Anitha” and later received a Nandi Award for the feature film “Railway Track.”
The minister also mentioned that senior actress Indraja is playing the lead role in the film. Produced by D. Jaya Pamma under the banner of Jaya Surya Pictures, the minister expressed hope that “Jai Ho” would achieve grand success.
The film has already completed two shooting schedules, and the next schedule is expected to begin in the last week of this month. The movie is currently being shot in Nandyal, Andhra Pradesh.
Minister Kandula Durgesh assured the film team that the Andhra Pradesh government would continue extending full support and cooperation to films being shot in the state.
He concluded by conveying his best wishes to the entire movie unit.
