CityLightBuzz: A review meeting on Roads & Buildings (R&B) projects and mining-related issues was held at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat under the leadership of Roads & Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and Mining & Geology Minister Dr. G. Vivek Venkataswamy.
During the meeting, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy directed officials not to harass small road contractors with excessive penalties and stressed that strict action should be taken only against those involved in illegal mining. He also urged officials to ensure contractors face no hurdles in obtaining mining permits for sand, soil, and metal required for road construction.The ministers also reviewed the progress of Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) road projects being implemented across Telangana and reiterated the government’s commitment to completing the projects by August 2028 under the leadership of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.
