TFTDDA New Executive Committee Takes Oath in Grand Ceremony

CityLightBuzz: The oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected Executive Committee of the Telugu Film & TV Dancers and Dance Directors Association (TFTDDA) for the 2025–2027 term was held in a grand manner in Hyderabad.
The ceremony was organised under the leadership of TFTDDA President Sumalatha Devi and witnessed the participation of union leaders, dancers, dance directors, film personalities and a large number of association members.
The newly elected office-bearers, who emerged victorious in the recent by-elections, formally assumed charge and took the oath of office. President Sumalatha Devi and other association members congratulated the new committee and wished them success in their responsibilities.Sumalatha Devi Seeks Members’ Cooperation
Speaking at the event, TFTDDA President Sumalatha Devi said the new Executive Committee had been constituted in accordance with the association’s by-laws. She appealed to all members to extend their cooperation and support to the newly elected team so that the association could work more effectively for the welfare of dancers and dance directors.
G. Balakrishna Focuses on Members’ Welfare
TFTDDA General Secretary G. Balakrishna clarified that reports suggesting that the association was opposed to actor Chiranjeevi were not true.
He expressed gratitude to Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan for their financial support towards providing health insurance to association members and appreciated their contribution to the welfare of artists.
Balakrishna said that members’ welfare would remain the top priority of the new committee and assured that efforts would be made to provide health insurance coverage to every eligible association member.

Sheik Jani Basha Calls for Unity
Prominent choreographer Sheik Jani Basha congratulated the newly elected committee and urged members to put past differences aside and work together for the development of the association. He said he had returned to the union after leaving it midway and called upon all members to move forward with unity.
He also appealed to producers, the Film Chamber and other stakeholders in the Telugu film industry to extend their cooperation and support to the dancers’ association.
T.G. Vishwa Prasad Assures Opportunities for Dancers
People Media Factory head and producer T.G. Vishwa Prasad said his production house was making payments directly to artists instead of routing them through intermediaries.
He assured that People Media Factory would provide opportunities to Telugu dancers directly in its upcoming projects.
Tagubothu Ramesh Congratulates New Team
Actor Tagubothu Ramesh congratulated the newly elected Executive Committee and expressed hope that the new leadership would work collectively for the welfare and development of association members.
Focus on Rights and Welfare .Representatives of TFTDDA said the association has been continuously working for the welfare of dancers and dance directors associated with the Telugu film and television industries.
The new Executive Committee resolved to prioritise resolving members’ problems, protecting their rights, expanding welfare initiatives and enhancing recognition for the contribution of dancers and dance directors to the Telugu entertainment industry.
The oath-taking ceremony brought renewed enthusiasm among TFTDDA members, with a large number of artists, association members and film personalities participating and making the event a grand success.
