CityLightBuzz: Ashwapuram, August 27: Preparations are underway in full swing for the inauguration of the Marellapadu Lift Irrigation Scheme in Ashwapuram mandal of Bhadradri Kothagudem district, with ministers scheduled to attend the event.
In view of the upcoming inauguration, MLA Payam Venkateshwarlu conducted a field inspection and reviewed the arrangements being made for the ministers’ visit. Accompanied by officials from the Irrigation Department and other government departments, he inspected the public meeting venue, delivery point and helipad areas.
Public Meeting Venue Inspected
The MLA inspected the open meeting venue being prepared at Gondigudem and instructed officials to ensure that all necessary facilities are arranged properly so that the public, leaders and other attendees do not face any inconvenience.
Delivery Point Reviewed
At the Marellapadu Lift Irrigation Scheme delivery point, Payam Venkateshwarlu reviewed the progress of ongoing works and sought details from irrigation officials.He directed the officials to speed up the remaining works and ensure that the project is ready for the scheduled inauguration.
Helipad ArrangementsThe MLA also inspected the helipad being prepared at Marellapadu for the arrival of the ministers. He instructed officials to complete the arrangements quickly while strictly following all required safety and security standards.
Route Map and Security Reviewed
Payam Venkateshwarlu reviewed the route map for the ministers’ visit and asked the police and concerned officials to take comprehensive security measures to prevent traffic congestion and other difficulties along the route.
He directed all departments to work in close coordination and complete the arrangements within the stipulated time to ensure the successful conduct of the ministers’ visit and the inauguration programme.
