Film Addresses Educational Pressure, Student Mental Health and Suicide Prevention
Hyderabad: The audio and trailer launch of ‘Jai Gauriputra Ganesha’, the first film produced under the banner of Vatsalya Audio & Video Illustrations, was held grandly at the Telugu Film Chamber Preview Hall in Hyderabad.
The event was organized under the leadership of Swami Sri Vatsalya Dharma Veera, who is the writer, director and producer of the film. Several prominent personalities from the film industry, political circles and spiritual communities attended the event and extended their best wishes to the team.Swami Sri Vatsalya Dharma Veera said he had spent the past 26 years studying Vedic Dharma Shastras in Tiruvannamalai. He said he entered the film industry with the objective of promoting moral values, humanity and positive thinking among today’s youth.He stated that ‘Jai Gauriputra Ganesha’ brings important issues concerning students, parents and society to the screen. He also revealed that his production house would continue making meaningful social, spiritual and message-oriented films in the future.
Telugu Film Producers Council Secretary Tummala Prasanna Kumar said films that deliver positive messages to society will always receive appreciation. He highlighted the need for greater discussion about the academic pressure faced by students and appreciated the team for choosing such an important subject.
Joint Secretary Tummalapalli Rama Satyanarayana said cinema should not be limited to entertainment and should also contribute to positive social change. He expressed concern over the increasing pressure on children from parents and educational institutions and hoped the film would introduce audiences to valuable aspects of the Indian way of life.
Actor Gharshana Srinivas said the film makes a unique attempt to present the problems faced by today’s youth from social and spiritual perspectives. He said such films are important for developing confidence, moral values and positive thinking among students.
Saraswati Upasak Sri Daivajna Sharma said education, knowledge and values are the foundations of human life. He appreciated the film’s attempt to present Indian Vedic traditions and cultural values in a way that can connect with the modern generation.
