Hyderabad: On the auspicious occasion of Vinayaka Chavithi, Union Minister Shri G. Kishan Reddy, along with Smt. Kavya Kishan Reddy, visited the iconic ‘Sri Panchamukha Sankatahara Maha Ganapati’ at Khairatabad and offered special prayers. The couple sought the blessings of Lord Ganesha and prayed for the health, happiness, prosperity and well-being of the people.The occasion was also attended by BJP senior leader Shri Chintala Ramachandra Reddy and BJP leader Shri Lankala Deepak Reddy.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri G. Kishan Reddy said that it was a matter of great happiness to have the darshan of the Khairatabad Mahaganapati, which has been showcasing its spiritual grandeur for decades.
He said that Ganesh celebrations in Hyderabad have gained recognition across the country and are being conducted on a grand scale with devotion and enthusiasm.
Recalling the contribution of the late Tiger Narendra, Kishan Reddy said that he played an important role in establishing the Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samithi and giving the celebrations a grand identity. He noted that Ganesh festivities and mass immersion programmes are now being conducted with great enthusiasm across Telangana.Kishan Reddy appealed to devotees to celebrate Vinayaka Chavithi peacefully and follow the safety guidelines and instructions issued by the police and authorities. He prayed that Lord Ganesha remove all obstacles from people’s lives and bless everyone with good health, happiness, prosperity and peace.
