“Congress and INDIA bloc spreading misinformation out of fear of defeat over deletion of infiltrators’ votes”
“BJP is the only alternative to the anti-people rule of Congress and BRS in Telangana”
“Attempts to shield those attacking Hindu temples by claiming they are mentally unstable have become routine”
“Make Seva Jyothi Yatra and Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabhas on October 7 a grand success across Telangana”
A meeting of the Telangana BJP State Office-bearers was held at the Bharatiya Janata Party Telangana State Office. BJP Telangana State President N. Ramchander Rao, State General Secretaries Dr. N. Gautham Rao, Veerender Goud and Vemula Ashok, State Organizational General Secretary Madhukar Ji, Organizational Joint General Secretary Dasharath, Karnataka State Co-Incharge Dr. Kasam Venkateshwarlu, along with state office-bearers, district presidents and other senior leaders, participated in the meeting.
Addressing the party leaders and cadres, State BJP President N. Ramchander Rao provided organisational direction and spoke on several political and public issues.
World Proud of India’s Election System, Congress Criticising It
N. Ramchander Rao said India has emerged as the world’s largest and most successful democracy. He recalled that U.S. President Donald Trump had also appreciated India’s Election Commission and the transparent electoral process based on voter identification cards during his interaction with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
While the world takes pride in India’s democratic system and electoral process, the Congress party is allegedly criticising the country and the Election Commission, he said.
Rao alleged that Congress was unable to accept the fact that an ordinary tea seller could become the Prime Minister of the country. He criticised Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge for questioning the validity of elections and challenged the party to first seek the resignation of Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and the Chief Ministers of Kerala and Himachal Pradesh if it
believed the elections were invalid.
He alleged that Congress considers EVMs and the Election Commission reliable when it wins elections but blames them when it loses, calling it an example of “debased politics.”
Congress Raising Objections Over Removal of Infiltrators’ Names from Voter Lists
Rao alleged that during previous Congress governments, illegal immigrants entered India and obtained ration cards and voter registrations through irregular means.
He said the Constitution grants voting rights to Indian citizens who meet the eligibility criteria, while foreign nationals who have entered the country illegally are not entitled to vote.
Referring to the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process, Rao claimed that the names of large numbers of alleged illegal immigrants were coming to light. He further claimed that around 30,000 Rohingyas and illegal voters had been identified in the Maheshwaram constituency of Hyderabad.
He alleged that Congress and INDIA bloc leaders were spreading misinformation out of fear of electoral defeat as the names of allegedly illegal voters were being removed from electoral rolls.
Rao said the BJP fully respects the Constitution and maintains that every Indian citizen aged 18 and above, irrespective of religion, must have the right to vote. He added that the electoral roll verification process also involves examining and correcting the names of people who have shifted from one place to another for employment or other reasons.
People Suffered Under Congress and BRS Governments, Says Rao
Rao alleged that although the Congress government in Telangana was approaching three years in office, several promises made during the elections, including the six guarantees, had not been fulfilled. He claimed that students were facing delays in fee reimbursement, farmers were not receiving the promised support, retired employees were facing pension delays, and teacher recruitment and employee promotions had been stalled.
He also alleged that the state government was not implementing the Centre’s Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana in Telangana, causing difficulties for farmers.Rao criticised the previous BRS government, alleging that the KCR family benefited during its decade in power, while under the present Congress government, “Revanth Reddy and his associates” were benefiting while ordinary people continued to face hardships.
He accused Congress leaders of focusing on commissions, contracts and sending funds to Delhi rather than resolving public issues.
He further alleged that disputes over the distribution of alleged illegal assets were taking place within the KCR family and that Congress and BRS were engaging in political drama by accusing each other of corruption. Rao claimed that the BJP was the only political alternative capable of protecting Telangana and addressing the concerns of its people.BJP Alleges Conspiracy Behind Attacks on Hindu Temples
Rao expressed concern over what he described as attacks on Hindu religious institutions and cultural values in Telangana under the Congress government.
He criticised Chief Minister Revanth Reddy over remarks that he said were disrespectful to Hindu deities and religious beliefs, alleging that such statements were being made for vote-bank politics.
Rao also referred to a series of incidents involving alleged attacks on Hindu temples, including the Secunderabad Muthyalamma Temple incident and more recent incidents involving temples in Malkajgiri and Dilsukhnagar. He alleged that whenever such incidents occur, attempts are made to attribute the accused person’s actions to mental health issues and divert attention from the incident.
Questioning the repeated use of such explanations, Rao asked why, according to him, people described as mentally unstable appeared to target Hindu temples. He accused Congress and BRS of engaging in vote-bank politics and alleged that their association with the AIMIM was encouraging such actions. He called for the protection of communal harmony and said the BJP was committed to ensuring that people could freely practise their religious beliefs.
Seva Jyothi Yatra and Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha on October 7
Rao said the BJP is not limited to electoral politics and continues to work for society and the nation through various service activities.
He highlighted initiatives such as blood donation camps and Swachh Bharat programmes undertaken by party workers.
As part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, the BJP will organise ‘Seva Jyothi Yatra’ and ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabhas’ at every district headquarters across Telangana on October 7.
Rao called upon BJP leaders and workers from all mandals to reach their respective district headquarters in large numbers by 9:00 AM.
He said that after 10:00 AM, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP national leadership would address the programmes.
He appealed to party cadres to work collectively to make the October 7 programmes a grand success across Telangana.
