The upcoming film “Kotha Malupu”, starring Akash, son of renowned singer Sunitha, is all set to release on June 12. Featuring Bhairavi Ardya as the female lead, the film is directed by Shiva Varaprasad Keshanakurthi and produced by Thati Balakrishna under the Thathastu Creations banner. The movie will be distributed by Mythri Movie Distributors.
The trailer launch event was held grandly at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad, with senior actor Bhanu Chander, singer Sunitha, producer C. Kalyan, and actor Raghu Babu attending as chief guests.
Set in a rural backdrop, “Kotha Malupu” is a romantic love suspense entertainer blending romance, suspense, and comedy. Akash and Bhairavi will be seen in a unique bava–maradalu (cousin) pairing. Supporting roles are played by Raghu Babu, Prithvi, Prabhavathi, and others, with music composed by Yashwanth.
Director Shiva Varaprasad stated that the film offers a fresh mix of romance and suspense, showcasing the scenic beauty of Konaseema along with entertaining comedy.
Singer Sunitha expressed her happiness, stating that Akash is hardworking and wished him great success. She added that the film has a strong entertainment quotient and appreciated the support of Mythri Movies.
Senior actor Bhanu Chander praised the trailer and expressed confidence that the audience would make the film a big success.
