The 75th birthday of celebrated director S. V. Krishna Reddy was grandly celebrated at the Filmnagar Cultural Center in Hyderabad in the presence of several Tollywood celebrities. On this occasion, the making video of his 43rd film “Vedavyas” was officially launched.
S. V. Krishna Reddy, known for delivering numerous successful family entertainers, is currently directing “Vedavyas”, produced by Kommuri Pratap Reddy under Sai Pragati Films and presented by producer K. Achireddy. The film introduces Pidugu Viswanath as the hero, along with Korean actress Joon Hyun-ji and Mongolian actor Sharan Bold. The movie has completed shooting and is currently in post-production.
On this special occasion, he was honored with a World Record recognition certificate from the Telugu Book of Records International for composing music for 38 films as a director.
Producer Kommuri Pratap Reddy praised S. V. Krishna Reddy as a great filmmaker and a kind-hearted person who has delivered many meaningful family-oriented films. He stated that “Vedavyas” highlights the greatness of the Vedas and the science behind them, making it a socially relevant film.
Senior actor Murali Mohan wished the director a long and successful life and hoped he would go on to direct 100 films. Producer Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao appreciated his contribution to Telugu cinema, calling him a guiding force for the industry.
Director Relangi Narasimha Rao reminisced about the golden era of family entertainers created by S. V. Krishna Reddy and expressed hope that such an era would return with films like “Vedavyas.” The event witnessed the presence of several prominent personalities from the film industry, making it a memorable celebration.
