Chief Minister Revanth Reddy made an emotional appeal to tribal women in Kothaguda village of Komaram Bheem Asifabad district, asking them to ensure their children receive education. “Even if you skip a meal, make sure your children study. Education alone can bring change and light into your lives,” he said, seeking their promise.

The interaction took place during the launch of the statewide mass housewarming program for one lakh Indiramma houses. The CM also unveiled a pylon marking the second phase sanction of 2.5 lakh houses across the state.

In Kothaguda, where 25 Indiramma houses have already been completed, he personally inaugurated houses belonging to beneficiaries and inspected the newly built homes. Tribal communities welcomed him with traditional Gussadi dances and hospitality.

The CM emphasized that no family should remain homeless and directed officials to ensure 100% housing coverage in tribal areas, including tandas and ITDA regions, within a year. He also highlighted welfare measures such as free bus travel for women, free electricity, housing schemes, and increased loan limits for women’s self-help groups from ₹5 lakh to ₹10 lakh.

Ministers including Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, Jupally Krishna Rao, Seethakka, and Vivek Venkatswamy, along with public representatives and officials, attended the event.
