CityLightBuzz: Hyderabad, The Bharat Rashtra Samithi Vidyarthi Vibhagam (BRSV) staged a massive protest at the Masab Tank Polytechnic College in Hyderabad, opposing Government Order (GO) No. 97.
A large number of BRSV student activists and supporters gathered at the college premises and raised strong objections to the provisions of GO 97. The protesters demanded that the government immediately reconsider and withdraw the order, stating that it could adversely affect students and their educational interests.
The protest witnessed slogans against the government, with BRSV activists demanding clarity and immediate action on the issues raised by students. Leaders and student activists addressed the gathering and called upon the authorities to respond to their concerns. Police were deployed at the protest location to maintain law and order and to prevent any untoward incidents. The demonstration resulted in significant activity at the college premises as students and BRSV activists continued their protest.
The BRSV stated that it would continue its agitation until the government addresses the concerns of students and takes appropriate steps regarding GO 97.
The protest at Masab Tank Polytechnic College has once again brought the issue of GO 97 into focus, with student organisations demanding that the government engage with them and resolve the matter at the earliest.
