The previous BRS government allocated lands for IT development, but the present Congress government has decided to turn those lands into a garbage dumping yard. Is this what you call change? Is this people’s governance?”

Strong opposition has been expressed against the decision to construct a dumping yard on Siddapur lands. Local residents have made it clear that they will not accept this move under any circumstances.

Speaking at the “Chalo Collectorate” protest against the dumping yard, former MLA Y. Anjaiah Yadav criticized the government’s decision.

Former Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy launched a padayatra in Siddapur village, voicing strong protest. She warned that if the government does not withdraw its decision to establish the dumping yard, large-scale agitations will be carried out along with the local people.

The protest was supported by BRS leaders and party members, demanding protection of the environment and local livelihoods.
