Aakash Goparaju and Bhairavi Ardhya Starrer Set for Grand Release on June 12
Hyderabad: Veteran filmmaker A. Kodandarami Reddy unveiled the trailer of the upcoming romantic love suspense entertainer ‘Kotha Malupu’ and extended his best wishes to the film’s team. Starring Aakash Goparaju and Bhairavi Ardhya in the lead roles, the film is directed by Shiva Varaprasad Keshanakurthi and produced by Tati Balakrishna under the Thadhasthu Creations banner.
Scheduled for a worldwide release on June 12, the film will be distributed by Mythri Movie Distributors.
Speaking at the trailer launch event, A. Kodandarami Reddy praised the trailer and concept, saying that both the lead actors looked impressive and expressing confidence that audiences would make the film a grand success.
Set against a picturesque rural backdrop, Kotha Malupu blends romance, suspense, comedy, and family emotions. Aakash and Bhairavi play the roles of bava-maradalu (cousin pair), while actors Raghu Babu, Prithviraj, and Prabhavathi appear in key supporting roles. The music is composed by Yashwanth Nag.
Director Shiva Varaprasad Keshanakurthi thanked Kodandarami Reddy for launching the trailer and said the film showcases the scenic beauty of Konaseema while delivering a compelling romantic suspense narrative packed with humor and entertainment.
Producer Tati Balakrishna described the project as a special milestone, marking his debut as a producer, the director’s first film, and the heroine’s debut venture. He added that comedian Mahendra’s comedy track would be one of the major highlights of the movie.
Aakash Goparaju expressed gratitude to the film’s team, his mother and renowned playback singer Sunitha Upadrashta, and Mythri Movies for their support. Bhairavi Ardhya stated that Kotha Malupu is a special film in her career and promised a refreshing cinematic experience filled with romance, suspense, and laughter.
The makers say Kotha Malupu is more than just a love story, offering a complete entertainment package with emotions, suspense, comedy, and family-friendly elements.
