Malayavi Karunodaya Society Continues Its Mission of Social Service Through Healthcare and Livelihood Support Initiatives
In a significant humanitarian initiative, actor and philanthropist Sonu Sood inaugurated a free ambulance service for the villages of Sunkireddypally and Ammadavakula in Wanaparthy district under the aegis of Malayavi Karunodaya Society. He also distributed free auto-rickshaws to economically disadvantaged auto drivers from Dammaiguda and Chilkanagar in Hyderabad to support their livelihoods.
Speaking on the occasion, Sonu Sood appreciated the efforts of Malayavi Karunodaya Society Founder Konda Krishnamma for her dedication to social welfare and encouraged the organization to continue undertaking more such impactful service initiatives. He stated that donating an ambulance is equivalent to saving lives and expressed hope that villagers would benefit greatly from the facility.

The actor also highlighted that providing auto-rickshaws to needy workers helps strengthen families by creating sustainable income opportunities. He urged beneficiaries to make the best use of the opportunity and support their families with dignity and determination.
Founded in 2004 by Konda Krishnamma, Malayavi Karunodaya Society has been actively involved in social service for over two decades. The organization conducts daily food distribution programs at government hospitals, including Gandhi and Niloufer Hospitals, supports housing construction for underprivileged families, and has distributed sewing machines to women for self-employment. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the society expanded its relief efforts to support vulnerable communities.
Chairperson Konda Krishnamma thanked Sonu Sood for encouraging and supporting the organization’s service activities and reaffirmed the society’s commitment to serving the underprivileged with the blessings and support of the community.
