₹2,000 crore Gurukul scam is taking place in Telangana” – Dr. R.S. Praveen Kumar BRS General Secretary Dr. R.S. Praveen Kumar alleged that a ₹2,000 crore scam is happening in the Gurukul system in Telangana. He claimed that Ministers Adluri Laxman Kumar and Azharuddin were given a script to speak against them.He questioned why Mafatlal, Ramesh Jain, and Niranjan Jain were not being included in Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s Cabinet.He demanded transparency on how much funding is being allocated to the Chief Minister in the budget. He alleged that files are not reaching the concerned department ministers and that the Chief Minister himself is signing the files.While Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is claiming to fight against drugs, Dr. Praveen Kumar alleged that the trunk box contract was given to Niranjan Jain, whom he accused of being linked to drug supply. He questioned whether there is any guarantee that drugs will not reach children in the name of trunk boxes. He also questioned the connection between Mafatlal and Vem Narender Reddy, alleging that TESCO gave a clothes supply contract to a person named Rajesh Agarwal.Dr. Praveen Kumar said that he will come to Somajiguda Press Club on July 2 at 11 AM and challenged Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar to participate in a discussion. He said even if there is a Cabinet meeting on July 2, it should be cancelled and the Minister should attend the discussion. 
He stated, “Ours is a people’s cabinet.” He alleged that money is being sent to government leaders through gunny bags by Jaiveer Reddy, Ramesh Jain, and Niranjan Jain. He said that if BRS comes to power, all these issues will be investigated. On security concerns, Dr. Praveen Kumar alleged that his security has been reduced and claimed that there have been three attempts on his life. He said he served the country for 26 years and worked as an officer under Congress, TDP, and BRS governments, but his security was never reduced earlier. He alleged that his driver was called and asked to bring the vehicle, while Revanth Reddy’s brother was provided four gunmen.He questioned, “Is Tirupati Reddy the Chief Security Officer of Telangana?”He said, “I speak only with evidence.” He claimed that he exposed mistakes related to the Bandi Bhagirath issue and that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is unable to tolerate the issues he raises.
He alleged that comments were made about his head and said that Revanth Reddy had invited him to join the Congress party.- He said he refused offers of TSPSC Chairman and Planning Board Vice Chairman posts.
- Dr. Praveen Kumar stated, “Even if Revanth Reddy tries to harm me, I will not be afraid. I will continue in the BRS party.”He recalled receiving the President’s Police Medal for Gallantry and alleged that around 10 other retired officers are also being troubled in his name. He said he wrote to the DGP regarding the reduction of his security.He added, “My bulletproof vehicle can also be given to Revanth Reddy. I have no objection if even bulletproof vehicles are provided to his pets.” He alleged that police officers had informed him about threats to his life on several occasions and said, “Those were not love letters.” He concluded that he will not stop questioning the government despite the reduction in his security.
