CM Revanth Reddy: Moosi Rejuvenation Will Be Completed Despite All Challenges

Chief Minister Shri Revanth Anumula stated that the Musi River rejuvenation project will be completed despite facing any obstacles. He said, “Rejuvenating the Musi River is my dream. I promise that the Musi purification will be completed.”

The Chief Minister announced that the SLBC project will be completed 100% before the next elections and Krishna River water will flow on Nalgonda soil. He assured support for completing the SLBC and Dindi projects.

During his visit to Nalgonda district, the CM unveiled the foundation stone for HAM road works at Kanagal Market Yard and later laid the foundation for a drinking water project worth ₹83 crore under TUFIDC in Nalgonda Municipal Corporation.

The programme was attended by Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukender Reddy, Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers Uttam Kumar Reddy, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Adluri Laxman Kumar, public representatives, and officials.

Addressing a public meeting at NG College grounds, CM Revanth Reddy assured that special focus would be given to Nalgonda district development and all necessary works would be taken up.

He said, “Due to Musi pollution, people of Ibrahimpatnam, Bhongir, Munugode, and Nalgonda are suffering. Whoever opposes it, we will complete Musi rejuvenation and transform it into a landmark project for the country.”

The CM challenged opposition parties for a discussion in the Assembly on the achievements of the last 30 months of the people’s government and alleged that Telangana faced “100 years of destruction in 10 years.”

He highlighted government initiatives including issuing lakhs of ration cards, supplying fine rice to 3.28 crore people, providing ₹5 lakh assistance for Indiramma houses, 200 units free electricity, and ₹500 gas cylinders.

He stated that ₹1.56 lakh crore was spent on farmers’ welfare in 30 months, 80 lakh metric tonnes of paddy were procured, SC categorisation was resolved, caste census was conducted, and 70,000 government jobs were filled.

The CM also spoke about reforms in government schools, breakfast and lunch programmes, skill development initiatives, Skill University, and transforming ITIs into Advanced Training Centres.
