The Telangana government is making grand arrangements for the Saraswati Anthya Pushkaralu celebrations at Kaleshwaram, one of the prominent spiritual centers in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district.
Endowments Minister Konda Surekha, along with Endowments Department Director M. Hanumantha Rao and senior officials, personally invited Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka at Praja Bhavan to participate in the Pushkaralu celebrations.
During the occasion, Vedic scholars blessed the Deputy CM with traditional Vedic chants.
Minister Konda Surekha informed that the Saraswati Anthya Pushkaralu will be conducted for 12 days from May 21 to June 1 at Kaleshwaram. The celebrations will begin with the first holy dip at 5:43 AM on May 21.
She stated that Sri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswati Swami of the Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham will perform the first Pushkara Snanam.
Daily Ganga Harathi ceremonies will also be organized at the Triveni Sangamam during the Pushkaralu. The Telangana government is making elaborate arrangements to ensure devotees face no inconvenience during the event.
