Parkal, Telangana: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy urged unemployed youth to remain vigilant against attempts to provoke or mislead them, assuring that his government is committed to addressing their concerns and creating opportunities through transparent, merit-based recruitment.
Addressing a public meeting as part of the Praja Palana – Pragati Bata programme in Parkal constituency, the Chief Minister said the people’s government is moving ahead by giving priority to farmers, women and youth and resolving issues one by one. ₹424 Crore Development Works in Parkal
During his visit, CM Revanth Reddy laid foundation stones for various development works worth approximately ₹424 crore in the Parkal constituency and inaugurated several completed development initiatives.
Speaking at the meeting, he highlighted the government’s focus on development and welfare while acknowledging the financial challenges faced by the state. 70,000 Government Jobs Filled
The Chief Minister said the government had filled around 70,000 government posts during its first year in office, emphasizing that unemployed youth remain a key priority for the administration.
He said recent police recruitment notifications have also been issued and the government has relaxed the age limit to provide more opportunities to aspiring candidates.
Reiterating his assurance, CM Revanth Reddy said government vacancies would be filled strictly on merit and that efforts would continue to fill all available vacancies in the coming days.
He appealed to unemployed youth not to waste their valuable time and to focus on preparing for competitive examinations and available employment opportunities.
Focus on Farmers, Women and Youth
The Chief Minister said the government is implementing programmes aimed at improving the welfare of farmers, women and unemployed youth. He maintained that the administration is working to address the state’s issues systematically despite the financial burden inherited by the government.
Appeal to KCR to Attend Assembly Sessions
Referring to Telangana’s history of social awareness and public movements, CM Revanth Reddy highlighted the contribution of the erstwhile Warangal district to the state’s political and social movements.
He also appealed to BRS leader and former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao to attend the Assembly sessions and participate in discussions on development and welfare. Revanth Reddy said experienced opposition leaders should offer their suggestions and advice in the interest of the state.
The Chief Minister said Telangana was progressing by addressing problems one at a time despite financial constraints. He remarked that the government had managed to bring the state’s finances back on track and that the focus should now be on accelerating development.
