CityLightBuzz: Devarakadra Constituency,August 2026,ย Devarakadra MLA Sri G. Madhusudan Reddy (GMR) held a review meeting with the DMHO and health department officials at Damagnapur village in Chinnachintakunta Mandal to assess healthcare services across the constituency.
During the meeting, the MLA discussed establishing Primary Health Centres (PHCs), Health Sub-Centres and Community Health Centres (CHCs) in areas where they are needed. He directed officials to identify locations requiring new PHCs and sub-centres and prepare proposals for their establishment.
The MLA instructed officials to strengthen healthcare infrastructure and remain vigilant against seasonal diseases in view of the ongoing monsoon season. He emphasised creating awareness among people in rural areas about fever, dengue, malaria and other seasonal illnesses and ensuring that essential medicines are stocked in advance. He also directed officials to ensure the availability of medicines, medical staff and necessary infrastructure at PHCs and sub-centres. He called for active participation from the public along with the health department in controlling seasonal diseases.
Later, MLA G. Madhusudan Reddy inspected the newly constructed Primary Health Centre (PHC) building at Damagnapur village, along with the DMHO and health department officials, following the completion of the construction works.
