Nutrition Week Celebrations Witness Grand Baby Shower and Annaprasana Ceremony in Yousufguda
Hyderabad: A grand mass Seemantham (baby shower) and Annaprasana ceremony was organised at Mohammed Function Hall, Yousufguda, in the Jubilee Hills constituency as part of Nutrition Week celebrations.
The programme was jointly organised by the Nava Yuva Nirman Foundation and the Congress Party under the leadership of Jubilee Hills MLA Shri V. Naveen Yadav.
Around 2,000 pregnant women, along with a large number of children and families, participated in the celebrations, creating a festive atmosphere at the venue. Sarees and Traditional Gifts Presented to Expectant Mothers
As part of the mass Seemantham ceremony, MLA V. Naveen Yadav extended his wishes to the expectant mothers for good health, happiness and prosperity. He presented sarees, turmeric and kumkum, describing them as gifts from a parental home, in a gesture of affection and support. The participating women expressed their happiness over the initiative and appreciated Naveen Yadav for supporting women from underprivileged families and standing by them like a brother. Annaprasana Ceremony Conducted
A special Annaprasana ceremony, marking the auspicious occasion of babies being introduced to solid food for the first time, was also organised during the event.
Gadwal Vijayalakshmi and Jubilee Hills MLA V. Naveen Yadav jointly conducted the ceremony and blessed the children.

The programme was attended by several prominent political leaders and public representatives, including TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, Ministers Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Seethakka and Azharuddin, Planning Commission Vice Chairman Gadwal Vijayalakshmi, Minority leader Faheem Qureshi, MP Anil Kumar Yadav, former MP Madhu Yash Goud, MLC Addanki Dayakar, and MLAs Danam Nagender, Uttam Padmavathi Reddy, Chittam Parnika Reddy and Yashaswini Reddy. Also present were Telangana Social Media President Sama Ram Mohan Reddy, Gaddar Vennela, Kalva Sujatha, Kothakota Seetha Dayakar Reddy, Deepak John, Saritha Tirupathaiah, Chitrapuri Colony President Vallabhaneni Anil, along with several Congress Party leaders, representatives and other dignitaries.The event highlighted the importance of maternal health, nutrition, community support and the well-being of mothers and children, while providing a memorable celebration for thousands of women and families in the Jubilee Hills constituency
