CityLightBuzz: Tirupati, September 13, 2026: Renowned Telugu singer, music director, actor and producer R.P. Patnaik met SVBC Chairman B. Sridhar Varma at the Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel (SVBC) office in Tirupati and felicitated him on his recent appointment.
During the cordial meeting, R.P. Patnaik shared details of his recent devotional music initiatives, including “Deva Karunamrutham,” featuring Laxmi Narayanastakam, Datta Padukastakam and Datta Chinmayastakam. He also spoke about the devotional single “Appa Appa Ayyappa” and “Pibare Rama Rasam,” dedicated to Lord Rama.
R.P. Patnaik further briefed the SVBC Chairman about his “Sampoorna Bhagavadgeetha Taathparyam” project, which covers all 18 chapters of the Bhagavad Gita.
SVBC Chairman B. Sridhar Varma appreciated Patnaik’s efforts to create meaningful devotional content and expressed his
support for initiatives that promote spirituality and devotion. The two also discussed opportunities for collaboration, including devotional music series and special spiritual programmes on SVBC.
R.P. Patnaik expressed his interest in presenting more devotional programmes through SVBC in the future.
SVBC, operated by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), continues to provide devotional programming to devotees worldwide, including live temple rituals, parayanams and spiritual programmes.
