Nalgonda: Telangana Minister Shri Komatireddy Venkat Reddy laid the foundation stone for the construction of a double road near Ramulabanda village in Nalgonda Mandal, being taken up at an estimated cost of ₹107 crore.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that various road development works worth approximately ₹850 crore are being undertaken across the Nalgonda Assembly Constituency to provide better transportation facilities to the people.
He emphasized that the government is giving priority to quality construction and taking measures to ensure smooth and safe movement for commuters without inconvenience. SLBC Tunnel Works Progress Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy also spoke about the progress of the Srisailam Left Bank Canal (SLBC) Tunnel Project. He said that approximately 600 metres of progress has already been achieved in the tunnel works. He stated that the government would arrange the required additional funds and work towards completing the tunnel by July 2028.
The Minister said that completing the SLBC tunnel is one of his key priorities, with the objective of ensuring irrigation
water for two crops to farmers in Nalgonda.
Nalgonda to Be Developed as a Model Constituency
Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said his goal is to develop Nalgonda Assembly Constituency across all sectors and transform it into a model constituency in Telangana.
He reiterated his commitment to strengthening road infrastructure, improving irrigation facilities and ensuring better development opportunities and public services for the people of Nalgonda.
