Hyderabad: Ms. Laura Williams, U.S. Consul General in Hyderabad, accompanied by Regional Security Officer Mr. Sidharth Ramachandran and Mr. Venkat Engirekula, Senior Foreign Service National Investigator (FSNI), paid a courtesy visit to Telangana Director General of Police (DGP) Shri C. V. Anand, IPS.
During the meeting, discussions focused on security-related issues concerning American citizens and U.S. companies. Shri C. V. Anand explained the coordination efforts of the Cyberabad Police in addressing such matters through the Cyberabad Security Council and highlighted their proactive approach to security-related concerns.
Recognising his passion for sports and cricket, Ms. Laura Williams presented Shri C. V. Anand with a cricket ball bearing an inscription from the U.S. Consulate General’s office. He appreciated the thoughtful gesture and said he would treasure it as a memorable keepsake.
The meeting underscored the importance of cooperation and coordination between law enforcement agencies in ensuring the safety and security of American citizens and businesses in the region.
