City:ightBuzz: HYDERABAD: Actor Ashish Gandhi’s upcoming film Danny is gearing up for a grand theatrical release on November 20. Described by its lead actor as a ‘cult and wild drama’, the film features Ashish Gandhi, Sejal Gupta, Sonal Singh and Azhar Khan in the lead roles.
Produced by Rizwan under the banners of Rizwan Entertainment and Kalyanji Content Pictures, the film is written and directed by Kalyanji Gogana. The makers officially announced the release date at a press meet held on Monday.
Speaking at the event, hero Ashish Gandhi expressed his excitement about reuniting with director Kalyanji Gogana and producer Rizwan after their previous collaboration on Natakam. He described Danny as a unique cult and wild drama and said the songs penned by Rakendu Mouli, along with Sai Karthik’s music, would be among the film’s major highlights. He also appreciated cinematographer AK Anand for his impressive visuals and praised co-star Sejal Gupta for her performance.
Director Kalyanji Gogana said that his association with Ashish Gandhi and producer Rizwan had once again brought the team together for an interesting project. He expressed confidence in Ashish’s performance and said the film blends romance with a rustic dramatic backdrop. He also appreciated Rakendu Mouli’s contribution and AK Anand’s cinematography. The director thanked K Music for acquiring the audio rights and appealed to audiences to support the film.
Producer Rizwan said that the team had reunited after Natakam and expressed confidence that Danny would entertain audiences. He revealed that a major portion of the film was shot in Goa and thanked the media for its continued support.
Lyricist Rakendu Mouli shared that the film’s title song had shaped up exceptionally well. He revealed that he had written English lyrics for the first time and had also penned songs reflecting different stages of love. He praised Sai Karthik’s compositions and said that Danny marked his sixth collaboration with director Kalyanji Gogana. He also appreciated the performances of Ashish Gandhi and Sejal Gupta.
Cinematographer AK Anand thanked the entire team for their support throughout the making of the film and expressed happiness over the quality of the visuals.
Priyanka, representing K Music, said the company was delighted to release the film’s songs and wished the team success ahead of its theatrical release.
Actress Sejal Gupta expressed happiness about being part of the project, thanked director Kalyanji Gogana for trusting her with the role and shared her appreciation for co-star Ashish Gandhi.

With an interesting combination of romance, rustic drama, music and performances, Danny is set to arrive in theatres on November 20.
