Bharat Innovates 2026: India’s Deep-Tech Revolution Takes Centre Stage in France

Bharat Innovates 2026 is a major international innovation conclave held in Nice, France, from June 14 to June 16, 2026. It serves as a global accelerator designed to connect India’s emerging deep-tech ecosystem with global investors, industry leaders, and research institutions.

The event was jointly inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron as part of the India-France Year of Innovation.

Key Objectives & Highlights

  • Showcasing Deep-Tech: The event features over 120 of India’s most promising deep-tech startups and more than 15 premier Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), including IITs.

  • Strategic Focus: It focuses on 13 critical technology pillars, including:

    • Artificial Intelligence, Cloud, and Quantum Computing.

    • Space and Defence technology.

    • Semiconductors and Advanced Computing.

    • Biotechnology, Healthcare, and MedTech.

    • Energy, Sustainability, and Climate solutions.

    • Manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and Smart Mobility.

  • Global Collaboration: The conclave acts as a “bridge” between Indian talent and European capital. It provides a platform for technology validation, pilot projects, co-development, and market access, aiming to move beyond traditional trade to a relationship driven by a shared vision for humanity and global good.

  • Innovation Ecosystem: The event highlights India’s significant growth in its startup and research ecosystem, backed by government initiatives like the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) and the broader “Viksit Bharat” vision.

By bringing together over 500 investors, global CEOs, and academic partners, Bharat Innovates 2026 aims to accelerate the commercialization of Indian research and solidify India’s position as a global innovation hub.
