In a major push for industrial growth, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu emphasized that the Royal Enfield motorcycle project should be executed at “bullet speed” in the state.

At a meeting held at the State Secretariat, Royal Enfield CEO Govindarajan met the Chief Minister and discussed the progress of the upcoming manufacturing unit near Tirupati.

The company announced that a ₹2,500 crore investment will be made to establish the plant at Satyavedu mandal, covering areas like Rallakuppam and Vannalluru villages. The facility will include a state-of-the-art manufacturing unit, testing track, research center, and a vendor park ecosystem.

The plant is expected to produce up to 9 lakh motorcycles annually and generate employment for around 15,000 people, both directly and indirectly.

Royal Enfield representatives also informed the Chief Minister about plans to launch an electric variant named “Flying Flea C6” in the near future.

The Chief Minister assured full support from the state government and highlighted Andhra Pradesh’s initiatives in renewable energy, including solar, wind, pumped storage, and battery energy storage systems.

During the meeting, Royal Enfield presented a miniature model of the Bullet 350 to the Chief Minister, who also reviewed various Bullet models and even posed wearing a helmet while seated on the motorcycle.
