CityLightBuzz: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed officials to expedite the construction of the ambitious Education Hub at Hakeempet in Vikarabad district, stating that he will personally review the progress every month. During his field visit, the Chief Minister inspected the construction of various educational institutions and the overall development plan for the Education Hub. He reviewed the progress of the Engineering College, Medical College, Nursing College, Veterinary College, Physiotherapy & Paramedical Colleges, along with hostel facilities, and issued several instructions to officials. Expressing dissatisfaction over the slow pace of construction, the Chief Minister instructed authorities to accelerate the works and submit monthly progress reports for every project. He also announced that he would personally inspect the site every month and even stay at the project location for a day to monitor the progress. Revanth Reddy warned that officials showing negligence or unnecessary delays in executing the project would face strict disciplinary action, including suspension if required. The Chief Minister also expressed concern over the delay in allotting plots to farmers who had surrendered their land for the project. He instructed officials to distribute land ownership documents (pattas) to all eligible beneficiaries by next week. Later, he conducted a review meeting with senior officials to assess the project’s progress and ensure timely completion of all infrastructure works.
