CM Revanth Reddy Performs Bhoomi Pooja for Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Veda Patashala, Yadagirigutta

CM Revanth Reddy’s Bhoomi Pooja at Yadagirigutta – 

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy laid the foundation stone and performed Bhoomi Pooja for various development works worth ₹99.55 crore at the Yadagirigutta Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple. This program was held with great grandeur in the divine presence of Kanchi Kamakoti Peethadhipathi Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamy.

Details of the Development Works Initiated:

  • Veda Pathashala: The largest Veda Pathashala (Vedic School) in Telangana will be built over an area of 15 acres at a cost of ₹43.80 crore. Here, 300 students will be taught the Vedas and Agama Shastras following the Ashram Gurukul system. This school, which will operate under the supervision of the Kanchi Peetham, will also feature a Goshala (cow shelter) and a Yagashala.

  • Dormitory Halls & Deekshaparula Sadanam: Dormitory halls and a sadanam (accommodation building) will be constructed at a cost of ₹43.12 crore for the convenience of visiting devotees and those observing vows (deeksha).

  • Nitya Kalyana Mandapam: A Nitya Kalyana Mandapam will be constructed on the hill at a cost of ₹9.87 crore to host the daily celestial weddings of the deity.

  • Roofing over the Stairway: A roof will be constructed over the stairway leading from the Vaikuntha Dwaram to the hilltop at a cost of ₹1.41 crore to protect devotees from the elements.

  • Stairs towards Mada Veedhulu: Stairs leading towards the Mada Veedhulu (temple streets) on the Rathashala side will be built at a cost of ₹1.35 crore.

Highlights of the Program:

  • CM Revanth Reddy first performed a special homam in the Yagashala amidst the chanting of mantras by Vedic scholars, followed by the Bhoomi Pooja for the Veda Pathashala.

  • Afterwards, he proceeded to the hilltop, had darshan of the deity, and offered special prayers. Following these rituals, the temple priests welcomed him with a traditional Poorna Kumbham.

  • Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukhender Reddy, Ministers Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Konda Surekha, Adluri Laxman Kumar, MPs Vem Narendar Reddy, Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy, and several other public representatives participated in the event.

Officials noted that the government has undertaken these initiatives with the ultimate goal of developing Yadagirigutta into a world-class spiritual center, modeled after the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD).
