Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy emphasized the need to expand Global Capability Centers (GCCs) beyond Hyderabad to other districts, considering the growing interest from international companies.
He directed officials to formulate a dedicated GCC Policy to promote the establishment of centers not only in Hyderabad but also along key corridors such as Nizamabad, Karimnagar, and Warangal highways. Special incentives will be offered to attract companies to set up GCCs and data centers in these regions.
During a high-level review meeting held at MCR HRD Institute with IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, the Chief Minister issued several key directives. He stressed that IT and employment opportunities should extend to Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities rather than being limited to Hyderabad.
The CM also instructed officials to identify “Beyond Core Urban Region” areas and promote IT and data center growth in such locations. He suggested exploring opportunities for data centers even in areas around Hyderabad that currently lack IT expansion.
Highlighting the ambitious Bharat Future City project, he directed that world-class infrastructure with net-zero environmental standards be implemented. He also called for the acceleration of projects like AI City, Health City, and Industrial Corridors.
Additionally, the CM proposed discussions with the Central Government to establish one of the five Regional Medical Tourism Hubs in the Future City’s Health City. He assured that he would personally engage with the Prime Minister if required.
The government also plans to establish “Invest Telangana” as a dynamic agency to provide end-to-end support for investors. Special escort officers will be assigned to assist companies from arrival to operations.
Furthermore, the CM directed that all government offices transition to T-Fiber internet within three months, enhancing digital infrastructure across the state.
