Congress Leaders Given Key Directions at Gandhi Bhavan Political Affairs Committee Meeting

FLASH NEWS POLITICAL

I participated in the Political Affairs Committee meeting held today at the Congress party office, Gandhi Bhavan. From this meeting, party leaders and cadre were given clear directions on two key issues.

On the issue of “SIR,” constituency in-charges must remain alert. There is a risk of votes being removed from Lambadi, tribal communities, migrant workers, women, Dalits, and minorities during this process. At the booth level, leaders must stay vigilant and ensure that not a single eligible voter’s name is deleted.

Going forward, including myself, ministers will allocate three days every month exclusively for party workers. During these days, they will visit grassroots levels and directly interact with party cadre. Everyone must work for the party—there will be no exceptions in this regard.

The Telangana Congress Political Affairs Committee met at the party headquarters, Gandhi Bhavan, to issue strict directives to its leadership and cadre. The high-level meeting was attended by AICC Telangana In-charge Meenakshi Natarajan, PCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, and other senior committee members.

The discussions centered on two main agendas: safeguarding the electoral rolls and intensifying the leadership’s presence at the grassroots level.
