CityLightBuzz: Hyderabad, September 26, 2026: A statue of former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh was unveiled at Wipro Circle in Hyderabad’s Financial District/Gachibowli on Saturday. Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy attended the statue unveiling ceremony as the chief guest. The event coincided with Dr. Manmohan Singh’s birth anniversary.
The programme was attended by former Chief Justice of India Justice N.V. Ramana, former Supreme Court judge Justice B. Sudarshan Reddy, former economic adviser Mohan Guruswamy, Telangana Ministers Duddilla Sridhar Babu and Adluri Lakshman Kumar, MPs Vem Narender Reddy and Anil Kumar Yadav, MLAs Arekapudi Gandhi and Naveen Yadav, MLC Kuchukulla Damodar Reddy, senior officials and other dignitaries.
The statue has been installed at the prominent Wipro Circle junction in Hyderabad’s IT corridor. The location has been associated with discussions about Dr. Manmohan Singh’s contribution to India’s economic reforms and the subsequent growth of the technology sector
