A grand “Suryavamsa Vadiya Raju Kshatriya Atmiya Sammelanam” was held at Anand Banquet Hall, Kukatpally, Hyderabad, bringing together hundreds of representatives from Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Odisha belonging to the Vaddera/Odiya Raju community.
The event was organized under the leadership of Kandula Chandrasekhar Raj, President of Vadiya Kshatriya Seva Samithi. Teenmar Mallanna attended as the chief guest, along with Malle Eshwar, community leaders, social activists, academicians, and youth representatives.
The conference focused on Vaddera history, political empowerment, education, youth development, and social self-respect. Speakers emphasized the need to preserve and pass on the rich heritage of the community to future generations.
Teenmar Mallanna highlighted that political unity among Vadderas can lead to achieving power, expressing concern over lack of representation in legislative bodies.
Leaders stressed that despite having a significant population, the community remains underrepresented and called for greater participation in politics, education, and employment sectors.
A major highlight of the event was the launch of the “Vadiyaraju Kshatriya Seva Samithi Dot Com” website, aimed at digitally preserving Vaddera history, inscriptions, temple heritage, family networks, and providing services like matrimony and mobile app integration.
Students who excelled in 10th standard exams were honored with cash awards and financial assistance, encouraging education as a pathway to community progress.
Speakers concluded by urging youth to take leadership roles and work collectively towards unity, awareness, and empowerment.
