CityLightBuzz: BRS Mulugu District President Kakulamarri Laxman Babu Calls for Service Activities to Mark KTR’s Birthday
Mulugu: On the occasion of the 50th birthday of BRS Working President K. Taraka Rama Rao (KTR), BRS Mulugu District President Kakulamarri Laxman Babu announced that the celebrations in the district would focus on public service rather than extravagant events. He said KTR’s decision to avoid lavish birthday celebrations, considering the hardships currently being faced by farmers across Telangana, is an inspiring example for every party worker to follow. In line with KTR’s vision, Laxman Babu stated that instead of spending money on flex banners, cakes, and other grand celebrations, the party has decided to undertake meaningful welfare activities that benefit society. As part of these initiatives, financial assistance has already been provided to 50 economically disadvantaged students from Mulugu district pursuing education from Intermediate to Engineering courses. He further announced that, as part of KTR’s birthday service initiatives, 50 underprivileged unemployed youth from Mulugu district preparing for the upcoming Police Constable and Sub-Inspector recruitment examinations will soon receive free study material, shoes, and other essential items to support their preparation.
Laxman Babu said that celebrating KTR’s 50th birthday through service-oriented activities is the most meaningful way to convey birthday wishes to the BRS Working President. He also appealed to BRS leaders, public representatives, party workers, and supporters across Mulugu district to refrain from spending on flex banners, cakes, and extravagant celebrations, and instead actively participate in welfare and service programmes to make the initiative a grand success.
