
A large-scale social service program was successfully conducted in Eturunagaram, Mulugu district, under the leadership of social activist Kakulamarrri Lakshman Babu with the joint support of Rotary Club of Hyderabad Jubilee Hills, Rotary Club of Hanamkonda, and BGR Mining & Infra Projects.
The initiative aimed at uplifting underprivileged communities in agency areas by providing essential support for education and livelihood.
As part of the program, 100 bicycles were distributed to economically disadvantaged students who face difficulties commuting to schools in remote villages. This initiative is expected to significantly support their education and future aspirations.
Additionally, 60 sewing machines were provided free of cost to unemployed women and young girls, enabling them to achieve self-employment and financial independence.
Rotary Club representatives, including senior members, appreciated Lakshman Babu’s dedication and commitment to social service. They emphasized that such initiatives would continue in the future to ensure comprehensive development of tribal and rural areas in Mulugu district.
Lakshman Babu stated that this is just the beginning and assured that more welfare programs will be implemented across the district with the support of service organizations. He reiterated his vision to improve infrastructure, reduce poverty, and empower marginalized communities.
The event not only provided material support but also instilled confidence and hope among hundreds of families in the region.
