CityLightBuzz: Hyderabad: International table tennis player and academic achiever Naina Jaiswal has added another remarkable milestone to her academic journey by receiving the Gold Medal in LL.M. (Master of Laws) from Osmania University.
The Gold Medal was presented during the university’s 85th Convocation, held on September 8, 2026, at Tagore Auditorium, Osmania University. Telangana Governor and Osmania University Chancellor Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla presided over the ceremony, with Vice-Chancellor Prof. Kumar Molugaram and Bharat Biotech Founder and Chairman Dr. Krishna M. Ella among the distinguished dignitaries.
Osmania University awarded 71 Gold Medals to meritorious students for academic excellence, along with 640 Ph.D. degrees across 12 faculties at the 85th Convocation.
For Naina Jaiswal, the achievement marks another significant chapter in an already exceptional academic career. She has previously been recognized for completing her Master’s degree in Political Science at a remarkably young age and has now successfully completed her LL.M. with First Division and Distinction.
Receiving the prestigious Gold Medal in Law in the presence of the Governor, Vice-Chancellor and Dr. Krishna M. Ella makes the occasion a particularly proud moment for Naina and her family.
The 85th Convocation also featured an address by Dr. Krishna M. Ella, who encouraged graduates to embrace emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and develop skills, innovation and entrepreneurship to address society’s challenges.
