At a press meet in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party President Pawan Kalyan made several key statements:
- “We will speak on every issue and fight against every injustice.”
- “My Telangana is an integral part of India.”
- Jana Sena will contest strongly in the Hyderabad Corporation elections and Assembly elections.
- “Whether we go with alliances or alone will be decided by time.”
- Jana Sena has never opposed the formation of Telangana state.
- “Our concern was that the state was not bifurcated in a respectful manner.”
- “How long will hatred be spread between people and regions?”
- “Is it wrong to respond to comments made against Union Home Minister Amit Shah?”
- Regional hatred will harm national unity.
- A road connecting the two Telugu states will be named after Burgula Ramakrishna Rao.
- “If it is proven that I have encroached on a lake, I will voluntarily surrender it.”
- A statue of Gaddar will also be installed in Andhra Pradesh.
