CityLightBuzz: Hyderabad August 29.2026, Popular folk star Kittu Pawan, who has won the hearts of audiences with Telangana folk songs rooted in the region’s culture and soil, is making his debut as a hero. The new film was formally launched on Saturday under the banners of MS Varahi Creations and Shivam Media.
The film is being jointly produced by Muni Shiva and Shivamalla as Production No. 3, with Dileep Sai Naik making his directorial debut. The film’s launch ceremony was held grandly at the Shivam Media office in Madhapur, Hyderabad.
Several prominent personalities from the Telugu film industry attended the inaugural event as chief guests, including Oscar-winning lyricist Chandrabose, filmmaker and music director R.P. Patnaik, National Award winner Satish Vegesna, and Big TV Chairman Vijay Vennam.
During the ceremony, Satish Vegesna and Bulletbandi Laxman handed over the script to director Dileep. Chandrabose sounded the clap for the first shot featuring hero Kittu Pawan. R.P. Kittu Pawan on His Hero Debut
Speaking about his journey, hero Kittu Pawan said he started his career as a small artist performing folk songs and was extremely happy to see leading personalities from the film industry come forward to support his first film as a hero.
“I started as a small artist doing folk songs. It is a great feeling to see so many prominent personalities come and support the film I am doing as a hero.”
The event was attended by music director Madin, cinematographer Janatha Bablu, debut director Krishnakanth, along with several artists and prominent personalities from the folk music industry.
The film is expected to showcase the flavour, culture and earthy essence of Telangana folk traditions while introducing Kittu Pawan to audiences in a new avatar as a lead actor.
