Three-Day International Exhibition to Attract 51,000+ Industry Professionals from Around 120 Countries | Union Minister S. P. Singh Baghel to Inaugurate the Event
HYDERABAD, November 4, 2026: Hyderabad is set to become a global hub for the poultry industry as the 18th edition of Poultry India Expo 2026 gets underway from November 25 to 27 at the HITEX Exhibition Centre. Organised by the Indian Poultry Equipment Manufacturers’ Association (IPEMA) – Poultry India, the three-day international exhibition is expected to feature over 550 exhibitors and attract more than 51,000 industry professionals from approximately 120 countries.
The exhibition will bring together poultry farmers, equipment manufacturers, feed producers, breeders, veterinarians, technology providers and industry experts on a common platform to showcase the latest developments and innovations in the poultry sector.
Spread across seven exhibition halls, the expo will showcase advanced technologies and equipment related to poultry breeding, hatcheries, feed production, farm management, climate-controlled housing, disease prevention, egg processing and waste management.
Union Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying and Panchayati Raj, Prof. S. P. Singh Baghel, is scheduled to inaugurate the exhibition. He will also inaugurate Poultry Knowledge Day, a specialised industry conference scheduled for November 24 at HICC–Novotel, Hitech City, Hyderabad.
India’s poultry industry continues to play a significant role in the agricultural economy, supporting millions of livelihoods through farming, feed manufacturing, transportation, processing and equipment supply. The sector is estimated to provide employment and income opportunities to around 5–6 million people.
According to government data, India produced 142.77 billion eggs during 2023–24, retaining its position as the world’s second-largest egg producer. With increasing demand for poultry products, the industry is focusing on improving productivity, reducing feed costs, strengthening disease prevention and adopting modern farming practices.
Poultry India Expo 2026 will provide an important platform for businesses to explore advanced equipment, interact with domestic and international suppliers and establish new commercial partnerships. Automated feeding systems, climate-controlled poultry housing, farm monitoring solutions, veterinary diagnostics and feed-efficiency technologies are expected to be among the major attractions.
Speaking about the exhibition, Mr. Uday Singh Bayas, President of IPEMA–Poultry India, said the event would bring together various segments of the poultry industry and help farmers and manufacturers understand emerging technologies and modern farm management practices. He also highlighted the opportunities for business discussions and collaborations between Indian and international companies.
The Poultry Knowledge Day conference will feature discussions involving scientists, policymakers, veterinarians and industry representatives. Key topics will include poultry health, nutrition, vaccination, feed management, farm automation, artificial intelligence and sustainable production practices.
The previous edition of Poultry India Expo recorded 51,251 visitors and participation from more than 500 exhibitors, covering approximately 35,000 square metres of exhibition space. Building on this response, organisers are expecting increased participation in the 2026 edition.
IPEMA maintains associations with more than 20 international poultry associations and 40 national industry bodies, strengthening its role in connecting Indian poultry businesses with global manufacturers, technology providers and industry stakeholders.
The exhibition is expected to benefit poultry farmers, entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprises looking to expand their businesses, adopt modern technologies and explore new investment opportunities.
