Shramika Panel Sweeps Telugu Television Digital & OTT Technicians and Workers Federation Elections

CityLightBuzz: The Shramika Panel secured a sweeping victory in the elections of the Telugu Television Digital & OTT Technicians and Workers Federation, held at the Federation office in Sri Krishna Nagar on Friday.
Out of the 22 posts, 20 candidates from the Shramika Panel were elected unanimously, while the elections for the posts of President and General Secretary witnessed an overwhelming mandate. Koyyalamudi Rakesh (Nani) was elected as President, and Putta Vijay Kumar was elected as General Secretary, securing nearly 95% of the votes and registering a decisive victory.
The unanimously elected office bearers include K. Narendra Reddy as Treasurer; Ramesh Master and S.K. Khuddus as Vice Presidents; K. Eswar and M.V.V. Krishnamurthy as Executive Vice Presidents; B. Mahipal, K. Madhu, P. Muralikrishna, and R. Nagaraju as Joint Secretaries; A. Devi, D. Sandeep Kumar, G. Satyanarayana Murthy, G. Shankar, and T. Satyanarayana (Satya Master) as Organising Secretaries.
The newly elected Executive Committee members are A. Karunakar, B. Ramu, C.H. Eswar Goud, C.H. Kameswara Rao, K. Lokesh, and P. Yamesh (Chakri).
Addressing the gathering after the results, newly elected President Koyyalamudi Rakesh (Nani) announced a major welfare initiative for federation members. He said that if any member belonging to the 24 crafts under the TV and OTT industry passes away due to unfortunate circumstances, the federation will provide ₹1 lakh financial assistance to the bereaved family within one hour. He stated that the scheme will come into effect immediately after the new committee assumes office.
Rakesh also said that the federation would work with the support of the government to establish a dedicated “TV Bhavan” to provide office space for all crafts under the federation.
The elections were conducted under the supervision of Adhoc Committee Chairman P. Murali, while High Court Advocate K.V.L. Narasimha Rao served as the Chief Election Officer, ensuring a smooth and transparent election process.
