CityLightBuzz: Ghanpur. Ambedkar Fellowship National Award recipient and Ambedkar Youth Association (AYS) State Organizing Secretary Pulla Mallaiah called upon people to strengthen Ambedkar’s ideals across villages, irrespective of caste and religion.
He was addressing a membership drive and organizational meeting of the Ambedkar Youth Association held at Ghanpur Mandal Headquarters under the chairmanship of Mandal President Shanigarapu Rajender.
Speaking at the event, Pulla Mallaiah expressed concern over the increasing incidents of atrocities, discrimination, and injustice against Dalits in various parts of the country. He alleged that both the Central and State Governments have failed to respond effectively to these issues and emphasized the need to strengthen the Ambedkar Youth Association from the grassroots level.
He urged members to spread Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s ideology, constitutional values, and vision among the youth and the public. He highlighted that the Indian Constitution, drafted under Dr. Ambedkar’s leadership, guarantees equal rights, reservations, voting rights, and social justice for all sections of society, regardless of caste or religion. He appealed to everyone to work towards preserving and promoting Ambedkar’s ideals in every village. Later, Dr. J.B. Raju, Founder of the Ambedkar Youth Association and a Guinness World Record Awardee, along with State President C.H. Avilayya, appealed to people across Telangana to enroll as members of the organization as per the decision of the State Committee. They announced that the membership fee has been fixed at ₹100.
