Shramika Panel Registers a Landslide Victory in Telugu TV, Digital & OTT Technicians and Workers Federation Elections.The Shramika Panel has secured a major victory in the elections of the Telugu Television, Digital & OTT Technicians and Workers Federation, held at the TV Federation office in Sri Krishnanagar.
All 20 candidates contesting from the Shramika Panel were elected unanimously. In the elections for the President and General Secretary posts, Koyyalamudi Rakesh (Nani) was elected as President and Putta Vijay Kumar as General Secretary, both securing an impressive 95% of the votes.
Speaking after his victory, newly elected President Rakesh announced that if any member belonging to the 24 crafts of the TV and OTT industry unfortunately passes away, ₹1 lakh financial assistance will be provided to the bereaved family within one hour. He stated that the scheme would come into effect immediately after the swearing-in ceremony.
Rakesh also assured that efforts would be made, with government support, to construct a ‘TV Bhavan’ that would provide office facilities for all the crafts represented by the Federation.The elections were conducted under the leadership of P. Murali, Chairman of the TV & OTT Federation Adhoc Committee, while High Court Advocate K.V.L. Narasimha Rao served as the Chief Election Officer.
