A Booth Level Agent (BLA) meeting on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process was held in Sangareddy. TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud attended the program along with Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha, TGIIC Chairperson Nirmala Jagga Reddy, and TPCC Working President Jagga Reddy.
Speaking at the meeting, Mahesh Kumar Goud said that another SIR-related meeting would be held on the 23rd in Andole along with Meenakshi Natarajan. He stated that India is the world’s largest democracy and recalled that the 2002 SIR process was conducted transparently.
He alleged that the current SIR process is being carried out in a way that could impact voter lists and claimed that the Election Commission must ensure complete transparency. He urged Booth Level Agents to play a key role in protecting voters’ rights.

Mahesh Kumar Goud praised senior leader Damodar Rajanarsimha for his role in Telangana’s statehood movement and expressed support for Meenakshi Natarajan.
He criticized BJP leaders over political issues and said power is not permanent. He stated that democracy and public support decide the future of governments.
Speaking about development, he said the Congress government has provided employment opportunities and taken steps in housing, healthcare, and public welfare. He claimed that reforms were initiated from PHCs to NIMS and promised that Congress would return to power in future elections.
He also responded to Union Minister Kishan Reddy’s remarks, stating that the Centre should clarify pending funds and unfulfilled promises related to Telangana. He alleged that BJP and BRS are unable to accept the development taking place in the state.
