Former Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatreya met Telangana Governor Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla at Lok Bhavan and submitted a memorandum highlighting key issues faced by tribal communities in the state.
The representation focused on protection of tribal land rights, resolution of Podu land issues, effective implementation of the 1/70 Act, PESA Act, Forest Rights Act, and improvement of education, healthcare, drinking water, and employment opportunities in tribal areas.
Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla assured that the concerns of tribal communities would be examined positively and necessary support would be extended.
Dattatreya emphasized that safeguarding tribal rights and ensuring the welfare of tribal communities is a collective responsibility.
