As part of the 99-day action plan of the “Praja Palana – Pragathi Pranalika” (People’s Governance – Progress Plan), Women’s Week celebrations were organized on a grand scale today in Nagaram village, under the Hasanparthy mandal of Hanumakonda district. As part of this event, the Honorable Chief Minister of Telangana State, Sri Anumula Revanth Reddy, virtually inaugurated the program. After watching the virtual inauguration along with officials, public representatives, women’s group members, and villagers, the Honorable MLA of Wardhannapet Constituency and retired IPS officer, Sri K.R. Nagaraju, performed the Bhumi Puja and laid the foundation stone for the construction of the women’s self-help group building in the village…

He mentioned that the Congress People’s Government is implementing numerous welfare and development programs for women’s empowerment. He stated that rural society will only develop if women are strengthened economically and socially, which is why the government is giving special priority to strengthening women’s self-help groups…
He explained that the government is implementing various programs aimed at providing self-employment opportunities to rural women, boosting their self-confidence, and improving the economic status of their families. He suggested that women’s groups should not remain merely as savings groups but should transform into crucial platforms for village development…
The MLA noted that the women’s group building to be constructed in Nagaram village will serve as a permanent platform for women. This building will provide facilities to hold meetings, training programs, and awareness seminars related to employment opportunities. He added that if women come forward collectively, they can bring remarkable changes in village development…
He stated that the Congress government is giving priority to women in all sectors and urged every family to fully utilize the schemes being implemented for women’s welfare.
