The meeting focused on strengthening the party organisation, improving coordination among elected representatives and chalking out strategies for upcoming political and electoral challenges in Telangana. Similar recent BJP organisational discussions have emphasised greater coordination between MPs, MLAs, MLCs and the state leadership.

The BJP leadership has been placing emphasis on strengthening the party’s grassroots network and ensuring that elected representatives work in coordination rather than functioning in separate groups. Recent organisational discussions have also focused on upcoming local-body elections and the party’s broader roadmap in Telangana.

The meeting also provided a platform for BJP legislators to discuss issues being faced by people in their respective constituencies and ways to raise them effectively with the state government.The party has recently been conducting programmes on issues including student fee-reimbursement dues, farmers’ problems, procurement and welfare schemes. BJP MPs, MLAs and MLCs have been actively participating in these campaigns.
