- The BRS party and Karimnagar have an inseparable bond. This land witnessed the second phase of the Telangana movement, the first “Simha Garjana” meeting, and KCR’s hunger strike.
- Karimnagar was the place where KCR was arrested at Alugunoor crossroads while going for his hunger strike. The people of this region also supported BRS victories in the past.
- Even after resigning twice as MP, KCR was elected with the support and love of Karimnagar people.
- During the Telangana movement, KCR secured projects like the railway line and drinking water schemes for Karimnagar. Later, as Chief Minister, he implemented Mission Bhagiratha and accelerated development works.
- The Congress government has failed in all sectors. Revanth Reddy’s own statements show his fear of defeat.
- Saying that power is not permanent proves that Revanth Reddy is losing confidence.
- He questioned why farmers should protect Revanth Reddy when he allegedly failed to support them.
- He accused the government of skipping three Rythu Bandhu installments, failing to provide bonuses, imposing power cuts, and not providing insurance benefits to farmers’ families.
- Earlier, farmers could get fertilizers delivered through a phone call, but now they are forced to wait in lines for urea.
- He alleged that Revanth Reddy cheated farmers by making promises regarding loan waiver and will not be forgiven by people.
- He described Revanth Reddy’s rule as an “El Niño” for Telangana and called upon people to remove it.
- Harish Rao said KCR built the Kaleshwaram project anticipating drought conditions and that farmers benefited through irrigation from projects like Yellampally and Mid Manair.
- He alleged that the present government is not operating Kannepalli motors despite water availability, due to political reasons.
- He demanded immediate operation of motors and supply of water to Annaram, Sundilla, Yellampally, Mid Manair, and SRSP projects to save crops.
On Voter Registration (SIR Process):
- Harish Rao advised BRS workers to be alert during the voter registration process.
- He alleged that there could be attempts to remove opposition voters and asked booth-level agents to coordinate properly.
- He said every voter must complete the enrollment form to protect their voting rights.
- He asked party workers to contact people who moved to cities, other states, or abroad and ensure their voter details are updated.
- He said young people turning 18 by October 1 can also apply for voter registration.
- As the deadline is July 25, he asked every worker to dedicate three hours daily and complete the process within 10 days.
- He said BRS has arranged special support systems and call centers at constituency and district levels to assist booth-level agents.
- MLA Gangula Kamalakar will conduct daily review meetings with booth agents to monitor progress.
- Booth agents are the eyes and ears of the party, he said, adding that many leaders rose from booth-level responsibilities.
- If booth agents work effectively, BRS will achieve a major victory, Harish Rao said.
