CityLightBuzz: The devotional song “Bhaja Govindam” from the upcoming Telugu film Aalochana was officially unveiled by Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy. The song’s release on Friendship Day added special significance to the occasion. Produced under the PSJ Films Co. banner by Pradeep Kumar and Srinivas Gundaboyina, Aalochana features veteran actors G.V. Narayana Rao, Prasad Babu, Narasimha Raju, Rajan Hari, Maharshi Raghava, Jayalalitha, and Benny Sudhakar in prominent roles. The film is written, directed, and has its screenplay and dialogues by Surender Chacha.
Earlier, the film’s first-look poster was launched by Padma Shri Murali Mohan, while the teaser was unveiled by renowned writer V. Vijayendra Prasad, creating positive buzz around the project.
The newly released “Bhaja Govindam” song highlights the importance of friendship, spiritual values, and meaningful relationships, conveying the message that loneliness can be overcome when friends remain connected even in old age. The film aims to inspire audiences by emphasizing the timeless value of friendship and human relationships.
The song draws inspiration from “Moha Mudgara” (Bhaja Govindam), the famous spiritual composition by Jagadguru Adi Shankaracharya. The philosophical Sanskrit verses have been thoughtfully translated into simple Telugu by Pratap Rajulapalli, making their profound wisdom and essence of Vedanta accessible to common audiences.
The song is composed by Viyan S.A. and beautifully rendered by Mangli and Viyan, blending devotion with meaningful lyrics that reflect the film’s core message.
